Why we fit what we sell

Plenty of shops will sell you a part and wish you luck. If it fails, the conversation that follows is about whether the part was faulty or the fitting was, and the customer is standing between two suppliers pointing at each other.

We would rather own both ends. Everything in the shop is something we fit ourselves, which is also why the range is narrower than an online catalogue — we stock what we are willing to stand behind.

Twenty-four months, parts and labour

The warranty covers the component and the work together. One invoice, one number to call, no apportioning of blame. It costs us a little in stock breadth and saves everyone the argument.

If you have sourced a part elsewhere we will still fit it, and we will say so on the sheet — the labour is warranted, the part is yours.
