The first ninety seconds are always the same three questions: where exactly are you, is the car in a safe position, and is anyone in it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Roadside first, tow second<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Around half of the calls we take are fixed at the roadside \u2014 a battery, a fuse, a wheel, occasionally a fuel mistake. That is the cheaper outcome for everyone, so the van goes out carrying the parts that solve the common cases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If it does need to come in, the flatbed takes it straight to the workshop and it goes on a lift the same morning.
